Hey, I just bought the Viper 5900 alarm on the net and still waiting on it but my question is how much will the installation be? an estimate? for all the features it includes. Any info will help. I'm just worried I have to pay for a "certified" guy from viper alarms and pay more for the installation of the alarm than the alarm itself. Its a 98 coupe BTW. :)

the install should cost more than 30-40 bucks.

Installation is a pain. Iv heard so many numbers after i got my alarm.
90. 100. 150. 200.
Honda dealership wont install it unless its factory.
I found out i had a factory alarm with no remote. So i ordered the remote, now i have to find someone who will program it cuz i know Honda will cheat me out of some money, one of the employees told me to find someone to program it for cheaper.

I have the Viper 350hv alarm, and its cost plus installation was like 370 at Best Buy.

What ki nd of features does your alarm have?  Sounds like a higher end model than mine.

What scares me the most is this "All Viper Car Alarm Systems Require DEI Professional Installation for Warranty and Service!" I called a local stereo/tint/alarm place that said it will cost me $200 for installation is $200 too much?

Yeah thts how the guy from Honda said to do it. And it worked. But my battery dies, so im guessing i have to do it again.
