yea, so im interested in getting into the hobby of making my rc cars go faster, but i know nothing and i need help
links and information would really help, im using a 6 volt rc car
this video inspired me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAiLMBb5YT4 im thinking maybe something like a supercharger because of the belt system on an RC car seems more achievable

Oh you need gas rc cars for that stuff. That is what all of those cars were. I have a T-maxx truck and it is faasssstt even without mods to it. It goes over 45 mph and is amazing seeing it go so fast. I had an electric rc truck and its speeds werent even a fraction of my T-maxx...so yea gas powered trucks/cars are what you need.

Dude, my brother is into that RC stuff, and he spends so much money on it lol. He is always buying new stuff cuz he breaks his suspension or something ludicrous. I think it would be really cool to get into the gas powered RC cars, but I just cant afford it lol.

I'm more into RC planes, but if you want to go fast you want a nitro car. If you want to upgrade the car you already have, if its even worth it, theres a few things you can do. You could get a higher speed motor, larger battery, bigger speed controller, and a new receiver if your running more then 6v from the new battery. Check the link below for a good RC forum.
