Hi everyone! New to the forum and wanted to post a question. I just purchased a 2000 Accord EX and noticed that when I'm driving or backing up I hear a squealing sound. At first I thought that maybe the rear brake pads had dust in them or they were worn, but after checking everything looked fine. So, I decided to purchase new pads. I haven't had a chance to install the new ones yet, but I was hoping I could check with everyone here and see if some of you might have a few suggestions?
Thanks!

it is just when you're backing up? i would blow compressed air in there first to really clean it out before replacing anything...

you need to chk the brakes mostly the inner pads, do not go only by how much there is left on the outer pads,, try a quick test,, gently push on the inner wear tab on the pads and spin the wheel if you hear the screatching noise the pad is worn ,, you can do this on all 4 wheels
