buzzing/wrrrrring noise upon acceleration

New Accord Owner and new member to HAF
 
2008 Accord Sedan EX, 2.4L 4 cyl, automatic
 
I test drove a few different vehicles and they all made this kind of high pitched buzzing/wrrring noise when accelerating. I assumed it's normal.  Can anyone confirm this?  And if so, what is causing it?

How many miles where on the car?
 
When cars sit on the lot for awhile (exsp. new cars) they have a high idle and run funney untill it does its idle learn and heats up the car. The '08s are still to new. Ive only worked on a handful of them (besides PDI's)
 
Chances are if 3 or more of them make the same noise it is normal.
 
 

It had less than 20 miles on it.  I'm not sure how many the other 2 had when I test drove them.
 
I was thinking the same thing.....if it's the same on 3 of them, it's probably normal. The car salesman said it was normal, but obviously I'm not going to take their word for it.  I guess I'm just hoping for some validation from others that have it on their car. Otherwise, I'll just hope if there is something wrong I'll figure it out before 36,000 miles.
 

HAHA i work at a dealership and still hate the salesmans.
 
Well, ill try and keep you updated on any new TSB's I also have a new 2008 accord with 2 miles on it in my bay now overnight. I need to fill her up with gas in the morning. Ill keep a lookout for any wrrrrring's.

I drove 4 08 accords. 2 of the 4 cyl. models made the wrring noise while both the v-6's did not. looks like its normal for the 4 cyl. it did go away some after you drive it for 15 min.
