cam for J30A4?

Is there a camshaft available to help increase HP in my J30A4? Will a cam from a different model car work or are there aftermarket ones?
What about catalytic convertors or bypasses? I live in Indiana and dont have inspections....
Exhaust that doesnt cost 600 dollars or sound like a "fart can"?
Sorry for all the questions, but Im new to Honda cars...

Cam: they should be available, if not then a decent machine shop can change the cam angles for you
Cat converters, plenty available or just get a good piece of flex pipe and remove the cat altogether....
Exhuast: Apexi World Sport II is a great sound or Flowmaster makes a LOUD exhaust that's not fart-canish either....
Welcome to the forum and keep em coming!

For a cat, try Random Technologies. They have a pretty good selection, and if they dont have one for your car, you should be able to find a universal cat that will work.
Apexi WS2 is really quiet, but its a nice hp boost. There are a few people on here who have it and love it. You might also try a Greddy Evo 2. Its pretty loud, but not ricey loud.

Arghhh.....Apexi WS2 mufflers for 7th gens are only for coupes!
Any good solid exhaust options for the 7th gen 4 CYL 4DR?

You could always just buy the muffler and have a shop do a custom mandrel bent piping job for ya.

You can still use the 80mm inlet one, it just means you will need 80mm pipe the whole way back. Its going to reduce backpressure quite a bit, maybe more than you want with a naturally aspirated engine.
Im also curious as to what it would cost to get mandrel bent pipe at a shop. I have been meaning to call around to some local shops and get a rough idea, but... Im lazy lol.

then 60mm it is...hey poser, if you have any suggestions go to my "EGAD" thread...I don't wanna hijack this thread any longer.
thanks!

03 sleeper, i say forget a turbo, slap a k20 head on there if you wanna go turbo and mess with the internals to get added power. N/A ftw!

Comeon, turbo is cliche.

forced induction is the only way to create massive power out of a smaller displacement engine... u want NA power go for a 454 big block or osmething

I'll wait for the prices to come down...especially that the 8th gen is rolling out soon. Perhaps I can find prices that the current 5th/6th gen offer.
EDIT- To stay on topic, make sure you replace your valvetrain if you want really nice gains from your camshaft. As I said before, I need to wait a bit for the prices...Skunk2 acutally made Stage1,2,3 camshafts for the K20, K24 series.

yeh dont listen to 03 the stock head on a K24 dont have proper oil flow to maintain the lubrication needed for stronger springs... ur stock springs work just fine to just under 9400 RPM so stock is fine... if u are going to do anything titanium or sodium filled valves are great... (just dont drop the sodium ones)

skunk 2 barely has anything for the K20/K24 i realy dont trust there R&D at the moment this info comes from Hondata if u do wanna upgrade ur oiling system u can install 2 custom spray bars in the valve cover to apply more oil (this is what i plan on doing) and then u can run titanium valves spring and a cam and be fully safe for well over 10K

Hondata doesn't make anything for the 7th gens....do they?

they tune Kseries... they have the best EMS for a K series... they know the K in and out because they have to tune them... they probably know more about creating power from a K then black trax and Skunk 2 put together...

I know the RSX (k20) engine is similar to the accord (k24) engine...but there's a difference, no?

^ hondata can tune the accord, just that i believe you have to get the rsx ecu and something else I forgot.
