Camber Question

Hi everyone. I just recently dropped my car and brought it to a alignement shop. They said my front wheels where cambered 1.7 degrees and the rear 1.5 degrees. This particular shop quoted me almost 800 dollars to do the entire alignment job (250 front camber kit, 350 rear camber kit, 5 hour labor).

I do know a performance shop that would install SPC front camber kit and bolt and washers in the rear for 300 plus 120 for alignment.

I did do the install myself and know how much of a pain and time it takes to install, and i don't currently hve the time to do it myself.

My question is, do you guys think it is worth installing the camber kit for such little camber? Its hardly noticable when looking at the car and ive heard of some people purposely setting their camber to 1.25 degrees for increased handling.

Thanks for your input

+/- 1 degree is acceptable, at the point your at your tires will wear unevenly (rotate them frequently) but yes your handling will probably be a bit better, if you can't afford it and don't have the time to do so then just let it be for now, start searching around for camber kits (much easier to install, then check our DIY section for alignment) get the kit and do the install, rotate your tires at every oil change...
