Can TSX projectors be put in TYC or DEPO projector headlights?

We've all heard of retro-fitting TSX projectors into a stock headlight housing.  But I was wondering if anybody has seen or heard of putting TSX or similar projectors into a TYC or DEPO projector headlight.  I would think it could be as simple as pulling the china crap projector out and bolting a TSX or similar in.  It would be much cheaper too.

TYC and Depo are the best brand named manufactors.  There wouldnt be a reson to pull out their projector and putting in a TSX's.
 
Ive seen people do that to ebay ones, not TYC though.
 
What year of Accord do you have?  Ill be selling my ebay projectors soon.

I was under the impresion that TYC and DEPO projectors don't look that good with hid bulbs and that a retro-fit is the best way to go if you want the best performance.  What does the mounting surface of the projector look like on your Ebay projectors?  Does it look like a TSX or similar projector would fit?  It wouldn't suprise me if a custom flange would have to be made to go between the back of the headlight housing and the new projector so you could bolt it right in.
 
If you have any leads or links to people with TSX  projectors in Ebay headlights that would be great.
