Hey guys just wanted to see who all has car alarms/remote starts and which ones you suggest. I''m leaning towards the Compustar Pro 2PWSS-AS. I got a quote for $700 install to include every option the alarm allows except window up/down.

holy shit. is that 700 part and labor or just labor? Seems steep to me..do you have an auto or manual trans?
If your near philly, theres this guy...does alarms and everything at a really good price.

It includes parts and labor with remote start. It also includes all the hook-ups except window up/down from the remote. The avg installer will install this alarm in 4 hours. A very good installer can get installed in about 2-3 hours. I had the compustar on a previous car and it took the certified installer over 8 hours to install.
