if you are really interested in the car, run it past your insurance agent. Carfax is not reliable at all for reporting accidents. Now they only report "major accidents"
How do I know this you ask?
I have a 2002 Acura CL type S that Carfax stated it was accident free "no problems found" and my insurance agent told me that it was involved in 2 accidents one within 2 weeks of the car being bought and the other one about 6 months before I bought it.
I reported this discrephency to them and they stated that they only guarentee the car to be free of major accidents.....lol
My agent told me the cost to fix it the first time was $650 and the second time was $1300

nah they just stated any accident that would adversely impact the value of the car....lol don't all accidents do that?

I would only use them for cars that you are SERIOUSLY considering on purchasing.............
