Well, I went to this service place yesterday to get a quote for a performance exhaust (magnaflow) and that with a cold air intake would total to $778. Anyways, doesn't this sound abnormally high? The cold air intake was only $80 (there is no labor charge for that). But, the magnaflow exhaust it self is $600. That's ridiculous in my opinion! I could order a Nopi exhaust and get it for a good deal. Also, AEM V2 cai (cold air intake) can be ordered from the Nopi Website for $300.
Anyways, anyone think these mods are good (Nopi and AEM)?

actually it is kind of ridiculous, only spend that if you have that money i guess, "rich:" but i bought a catback n1 exhaust for 200 off ebay and i could care less if it has a name on it or not, but as for intake, i have to go with aem.... but search on ebay.... they have so many intakes for around 120-250 that are aem.... its a better deal and they are brand new

wait is your car a 4 banger or v6? If your car is a 4 banger, you got ripped off. If it's for a v6, then I would say that price would be average. I bought my exhaust system (WS2) for around 700, the guy I bought it from ripped me off.

nope i didn't get it done just a quote. i don't want to deal with the hassle of constantly making sure everything is working.

I'd personally spend the money on engine internals then an exhaust and over priced aem intake. I've seen $30 no name intakes perform just as well as a $$$ aem intake

try cardomain.com i got my SRI from them for 110 bucks. It comes with free shipping which is a hella of a deal for a aem intake. or better yet try autozone. I saw one in there for about the same price only when i bought it, it was missing a slip so i took it back and got the one from cardomain.
