Jack up the car and crawl under there and measure it! haha that is what I would do!

i want to get a new aftermarket one.  i tried to measure it, but wasnt able to get a good measurement since the metal thingy around it wasnt wouldnt come off.

Good point but you need a tape measure or a yard stick to do that..maybe he doesn''t have one on his car and that''s why he''s asking...

Here''s an easy way to find out...Go to AutoZone or Advance and ask to see a OEM cat converter and measure it when they bring it to you...

Hope you''re not getting a high-flow cat for performance...  I''ve heard they give 1-2 hp and for the $$$, that''s pretty terrible.
