Chicago meet - Page 2

Wood Dale is about 30 min from chi-town lmao i am at sony style in wood field mall typing this lmao umm depends where in chicago there is an awesome forest preserve right by my house where we could meet i will get the name and post it there is enough room for all of our cars good amount of room for a game of football and there is a gazebo we can eat under and they allow grills so it would be nice just a thought

It is right by Irving Park Road If comming from chicago you would take Irving Park West to Addison rd. then make a Left onto Addison then take Addison down about 2.3-3 miles ( a guess) to Elizabeth Raod make a Left and you can't miss it it is a great place to chill and have a nice BBQ along with football or some other sport. There is a Jewel right around were we can get beverages from and hotdogs, hamburgers, steak, what ever floats your boat

This sounds really awesome!  I AM VERY INTERESTED AND WILLING.
I say we actually get something planned as time goes on, and make sure 100% people can attend once it gets a little warmer. 
It would be the 1st HAF Accord meet that I have ever seen!
I'm really pumped!
 
I just would like this to be an organized thing, so I dont drive for two hours to meet one other Accord!
Also, I could check into some prices for some small vinyl window decals, and if we get enough people I could bring them up and sell them to you guys but I wouldnt want any profit.  It would be strictly cost and i'd bring th receipt to prove it.
 
Plus, we could get some great pics, and possibly use them as our own HAF logo or something.

Yikes, thats 2.5 hour drive for me!  Maybe we could meet @ Joilet at the drag strip or something!

So we have roughly 7ish people who have shown interest.  I am assuming if/when plans start getting more solid we may have a few more.

Yeah that drive would be far I was just throwing around a idea. Drag strip would be nice, but coast money. We could find a nice = drive I just thought my idea was nice, but it is a pretty far drive for you. Where are you located?

Just be a cool place for some pics, plus its closer to me!  A park would be just fine w/ me too!

This post says chicago meet so im thinking it would be in the chicago area. I would definitly be down for a meet if there will be a good amount of ppl and i wont have to drive too far. i love to drive but with gas at $4 in cook county i think i should limit myself to how far to drive. i mean if we put this much money into our cars we cant complain that much but it is obsurb how much gas is. If this is still in the plans it should definitly be on a weekend. Just to throw it out there but there is a forest preserve right by me (Forest Park, Cook County)with a lot that probably holds up to a 100 cars with a monster football sized open field with a pavilion in the back corner. If we want ppl to come throw it out to all accord owners not just gen 5. Il be down if it turns into something pretty big.
