With fresh Mobil 1 on the inside and a clean AEM filter I thought I'd spruce up the little aluminum wonder.

Lookin' real clean man. Do you ever drive that thing/ from the look of that engine it doesn't look like it. HaHa

Wow, thats amazing!  How did you get it that clean?  How long did it take you?  My engine is SOOO dirty, and I really should clean it one of these days...

Wow...Looks really nice.  I also need to clean mine!  Is the black part plastic?  I had a friend that once used Armor All on plastic under his hood and it attracted dirt like nothing else.

Wow! 70 degrees here yesterday. I detailed a 2006 Caddy CTS. All is well.

First I don't let it get horribly dirty. I used a little degreaser on a warm engine, then the power washer. I let it idle while I did other things so as to help dry it. Then I hit it with a BUNCH of rags to dry it off. Once that was done I sprayed it down with Stoner's More Shine. After 30 minutes or so I wiped off the excess and that's it.

So wait u can power wash ur engine ? All that water won't hurt anything ?

Not if you're reasonable with it. I covered the cone filter and took care not to blast things like the alternator, etc.
