Just take your garden hose and spray away

when i was detailing i would let the engine run for about 10 minutes to get good and hot.  then, with the car running, i would get some degreaser and spray it down, you will probably want to stay away from the spark plug holes if possible, and  throw a plastic bag over the distributor.  then i would use a water hose and spray the engine off.  after i was done, i would let the car run for an additional 10 to 20 minutes till everything was pretty well dry.  i would shut her off and spray some sort of chemical that made plastic shine up.  i cant remeber the name of it though.  after that i would wash the car really well, cause there was always degreaser on the paint.   hope this helps.   adam

I would not advice cleaning the engine,,( spraying it ) while engine is running,,
YO Honda_Dude junior ..( since there was 1 already )

with engine off, spary some degreaser in the engine, then get a water hose and rinse it all off

I have done thousands of cars this way and have never had a problem,, ( depending on year and model i would adevice to cover the distributor ),Once all rinsed off, pull the plug wires off make sure no water got in the holes especially if they are non-honda plug wires ,
