I went for the inbewtween solution to the problem. I got skunk2 street coilovers which are just the spring and adjuster and a couple other parts and theyre great. Dropped mine almost 3 inches, I can adjust them and it handles freakin amazing. But they aren't full coilovers and theyll need shocks soon cuz I dont wanna bottom out. Youre choice though.

so you just got the sleeves. yeah, i am goin with full coilovers. btw, i never heard of a three inch drop on an accord without aftermarket shocks. you better get those shocks soon, or...you know what will happen.

yea its pretty low and they aren't even all the way down but i think im just gonna raise them some cuz ive bottomed out like 3 times already not bad but I hate it and I go over speed bumps twice a day due to my gay high school. Anybody have suggestions for good shocks though.

I heard gas shocks give you smoother ride than hydraullic shocks.
is that true?

only if they're tuned properly ..... they can also be a major PITA since they are always pressurized and can leak much easier.  Gas can perform better, but hydraulic is much more reliable.  I can't see needing better handling than my Tein SS offers and if you want smooth, buy a Tein setup that can handle the EDFC that I want to sell.  Then you can have a true track system and on-the-fly damper adjustment with 3 presets!  I'm selling it because my gf got it for me and it doesn't fit the kit that I have.

thanks, falkore...EDFC only can be used with Tein SS...am I right?
And I've heard that it will give you somewhat smoother ride but not smooth enough as you can call it..?
and one more question...if you install coilover...do you need wheel alignment?
if you lower and raise the sus...does it change the alignment?

When I set my suspension on 4 of 16, it is pretty soft.  True that softer springs would be even more comfortable, but then I'd be giving up my handling.  I generally keep it on track settings, so we have different desires from the suspension, but no matter.  I and others here can help you get what you want, we just need to understand your driving characteristics and when you need different types of handling.  As for alignment, the answer is yes.  Align whenever you change the height and align any time you change any suspension part, no matter what type of suspension.

Oh ... and the EDFC is made by Tein for their products only .... it may work on Koni's as discovered in talking to accordsown, but not sure and definately not tested for it.

Do you do your alignment by yourself?
If I had a set of coilover, I think I'd be changing the height every week or so...haha

No, I pay but I don't change the height often ..... I'm thinking about dropping it a little, but the last time that I had it low, I couldn't pull out of my driveway nose first without dragging my tailpipes on the sidewalk.  When I eventually build my castle, I will definately make sure that it has a very low incline.

NTB has a 1yr and a 3yr alignment package:
$99.99 for 1yr, and i think it was 199.99 for 3 year.

By default their standard $74.99 1-time has a 6mo/6k mile warranty.

They were kind enough to tell me that once I install my camber kit i can bring it back for a free alignment as long as I was still under warranty.

Just be sure they will be true to this the firestone dealer where i got my last tires got the lifetime alignment, said my car is too low and they wont touch it.
