WEll its about time for me to buy another goodie for the car car parts been coming slow since ive moved out but i think ive narrowed it down to 2 choices

Im kinda leaning to the Tein just because its Tein, but i know that apexi makes great products too what do you guys think?

Check my cardomain...on page 2 is a short summary review of the A'pexi. Honestly, I got sick of hearing about the Tein and decided to be different. At the time of purchase I only knew of 10 A'pex Dampers on a 6th Gen, now a lot more have them.

Honestly the only comparison that I read reagrding the Tein vs. the Apex is that the Apex has a stiffer spring rate and is capable is much lower drop heights.

about how low is yours now?

actually about those sylvania bulbs - are those any good - I was thinking of putting them in - but I think blue light is lame, are those white white or still look blue white?

i hate sylvias they blew like after 6 months on me and i had 2 sets

I'm dropped at least 2" if not 2.5"...my rear tire tucks a little. those pics were when my springs weren't even settled yet.

As far as the Silverstars they're yellowish-white. Whiter than any Halogen you'll buy, but nothing close to HID. There is no such thing as a really white halogen. They all come out yellow or blue.

When yopu did your head lights how do you get them apart? just pull really hard?

I baked them in the oven for about 5-10 mins at a time and used old knife edge to pry them apart (messy). I believe the temp was about 200 degrees. I know it was no more than 250. I resealed them with RTV silicone and rebaked them and applied pressure to get them reseal.

Can you be more specific abput how did u reseal them?

Once they're apart and painted and ready to be resealed, line the edge with rtv silicone and press them back together. Then put them in the oven at 200 degrees for 5-10 mins at a time (it's hot). Pull them out and press them together making sure that the snaps (on the tops and bottom of the housings are latched. Let them cool. If they do not seam sealed place them back in the oven and repeat the pressing and cooling process.
