Drunk Driver?

So im in bed sleeping and all the sudden, i wake up b/c i hear some car peeling off...its raining so i guess the tires kept doing a burn out. anyway, i look out my window and its dark but i still manage to see the car drive off. usually theres a light from the street light but its out. It happens sometimes. so i didnt think anything of it. I look on the ground closer to it and i see a dark patch. hrmm what could it be.

I notice that my neighbor had come outside so i do the same thing. Awesome. The telephone pole in front of my driveway had been attacked. The cool part about it, is that the pole fell straight down, as opposed to falling over. As if the bottom part had been hit so hard and quick, that it was "pushed" out of the way and the pole just moved down a couple of feet. Here''''s a pic or two.
Oh, incase some of you were wondering, it was a black pickup truck that hit it. Not sure of make and model, but its a pick up truck. and it was black. thats all i know. The drivers lucky none of the four cars in my driveway were hit. My sister usually parks her mini cooper on the street but last night some ahole hit her side view mirror, so i moved her car into our driveway...good thing b/c her car would''''ve been demolished.

Might of been drunk, maybe not. It''s a gross misdemeanor in MN to leave the scene of an accident. I took out a fiberglass light post on a DRY road when I hit a patch of black ice. You siad it was raining, he could of done the same, but a telephone pole, he must have had some serious momentum!

poor telephone pole... a minute of silence...

Dang.  I can''t believe the truck was still running after that hit!  The city will probably spend $5k+ to replace that telephone pole.

Damn thats awesome.... Only because no one was hurt of course
