Was wondering if anyone could help me out with this?
Have a '94 accord 4cyl VTEC and recently, my battery died. I just replaced the battery, but when I turn the ignition, a relay in the dash continually clicks (sounds like the turn signal or hazards are on - they're not though) and the starter won't turn. I think I hear the fuel injection working, and a click is coming from the starter area, but that's about it. Really not sure where to begin with this one. Any help appreciated!

Check for spark and fuel pressure, you will not have one of them if your starting is turning at a correct speed. I can post the page out of the service manual for testing the main relay if you want it.

i like deserts idea the best but usually you wont get that click when your alarm is messed up. maybe your starter is bad. but always do the easiest things first. and give us some more information. does your clock and everything die out when you turn the key?

get your battery checked first for voltage. lets say if it has anything less than 12.5 volts, then thats the reason your starter wont turn over. it could even just be the connection to the battery. if you have a bunch of corrosion on your terminals (and you know you do) then that can easily keep your car from firing up.

Yes, and this was the problem. The horn was disabled, but the rest of the system works and prevented the car from starting. We found a keyless entry and it fixed the problem. However, I would like to completely disable this system. It's an old Audivox security system - not sure what model, but is there a quick way to completely disable this system? Thanks for your help.

i tought it might be an after market alarm,, i have seen it do the same thing a few times.........

alarms are hooked into the ignition switch wiring ,, just cut all those wires that are connected to ignition switch,,,,,,,,,,if you are not familiar have a tech do it , so you do not cut the wrong wires

Glad it is taking care of ..
