For all those who live in SoCal, i hope you all are OK from these crazy brush fires in Malibu and Orange County. School was cancelled today and tomorrow for me because the fire is so close, who knows, it might even get cancelled for wednesday. its cool and all, but i would rather have school then have people's homes getting burned down. best wishes to all.

possibly...but really, when its tinder dry, it doesnt take much. a passing spark from a muffler dragging could spark it.
actually, we had a wetter monsoom this year (closer to 'normal,' whatever normal means), so the fire danger here in flag is low...makes the town smile.

Or could be the government trying to lower the housing supply to drive housing prices up.javascript:void(AddText('[8\|]'))

not sure whats worse, your house burning up or flooding because of expanding water bursting your pipes while your on vacation.

snow will do it too... I'm getting into a house hopefully next month and I plan on putting flood, fire and all sorts of coverages on it.... homeowners insurance isn't something to mess with as far as I'm concerned...

How would you get enough snow in the shield? My filter is fairly well protected from rain, but a flood is another story. I can't see how snow would get in there unless the shield were removed. Considering the scrapes on it, I think it's pretty necessary!
