What is the weight of a stock f23 flywheel?

I would guess highr than that.

I just took it off the scale and it weights 17lbs, I'm trying to see if it would be worth to get a lightweight flywheel 11lbs. I'm not to stick with the stock. Thanks

I thought it was around 20 to 30 but 17 isn't bad

I have the xact flywheel by ACT (11 pounds I think) and I think it was worth the money. I noticed better engine response and slightly better acceleration.

How is your deceleration? Does it slow down quicker too? And when you let off the gas is your speed being maintained or does it go down fast?

I really didn't it notice it slow down a whole lot quicker, maybe just a tiny bit quicker.
I start to slow down when I let off the gas, but it's not like hitting the brake.

No problem. Tell us how it goes and if you notice a performance gain. Maybe some more people out there will go for them.

$356
I had to start all over with the engine block change the pistons and valves. The clutch and flywheel were just some of the things that i'm replacing while the engine is apart.

Not a bad price. I think mine was around that price too. At least $300.
what kind of valves did you use on that engine? Did you happen to change the rods?
Sorry to get off topic but I've got a motor I'm building and I'm trying to get some input.

this is probably a dumb question but can you buy a lightweight flywheel if you have an automatic or would that not matter?

yes you can use a light weight flywheel with the auto. I would not go any lighter than 11lbs since idle smoothness will be affected.
