With component systems the price range is pretty wide. The first things I would suggest is to go to various A/V stores (Best Buy, Circuit City, Tweeters, etc.) and listen. See what types you like. That should help narrow it down to your price range selection. Once your able to do that, go online and try to research some. Are you building a SQ or SPL competition car? Or are these just replacing the stock speakers? Yes the speakers in the dash should be tweeters, although I'm not sure if I would place them there for separates. Ideally you wouldn't want to have the tweeter farther than 6" from the mid-bass. The one in the dash is about twice that distance (I'm roughly guessing - I haven't measured yet, just eyeballed it). You get too much separation when it's more than 6". Plus, the refraction off the glass isn't the best, but for the application for the Accord's, is O.K.

If the speakers sizes for the 99 and 01 are the same (they should be), then your front door speakers are 6.5"s and the rear deck speakers are 6x9"s.
