just ordered my new Fujita CAI today for $237.95 shipped! cant wait and i will update on how it goes.

Hey Dmic, I just order a Fujita CAI for my 07 V4.Just wanted to ask was it hard to install it?If so, can you tell me the steps.or did you have someone to do it for u?

it wasnt so hard to install it, just removing the bumper was anoing( it was a really hot day!!)
 
well, my friend helped me on most of it, so i dont really remember the steps.
 
if u follow the steps they show u in the manual, it shouldnt be that much of a problem.

Yo Dmic, how has your intake been holding up? has it caused you any problems yet? mine should be arriving tomorrow!

well, my intake is running great, but i have incountered this one problem.   In time to time, it willl make this back fire noice from the intake.

i tried to figure out wat was causing it, but couldnt get the answer.  I dont think its a big problem so im just live on wid it.

HAHA I don't care about how it looks just how does it perform. So please tell us about the performance increase (hopefully).

well, im only talking pics for my gallery and i nominated my car for september car of the month and the pics might help, haha. as for the performance, i can definately feel a power boost, especially combining it with my exhaust. it so sick! no prblems yet, crossin fingers!

Holy cow u guys have really expensive intakes.. i got mine for $80 the bypass cost half of what the intake did........

I just installed my K&N typhoon SRI :) sounds real nice..

and Btw, it IS CARP exempt~!

it ISN'T CARB exempt for my car! the K&N typhoon series for the '06 i4 IS NOT CARB exempt, but the 2003-2005 IS CARB exempt

I got my Cai install. I like it alot! A+ for this intake.

when the intake is installed; does anyone's check engine light or maintence light come on?

While installing the intake with the maf,you suppose to turn the key to your car half way.( Not starting your car, but having all the lights come on as if you just wanted to hear the radio.) If not, the check engine light will come on. I know this for a fact cause it happen to me.  Lucky I had the CAI install in the shop,so they help me fix it right away.

this happened to me, too! but the CEL went off after a couple of starts. yours should go off soon, and if it doesn't, then try and look for a shop that can fix it like jc07accord said.

whats so great about the fujita?
i mean a pipe is a pipe... its the filter that counts.

Maybe you need to buy one and see for yourself, if you dont like it you can always sell it in here to one of our members...

should have gotten a fujita! tell us how the Injen is.

I wouldn't expect any differance at all.
