What are you're pet peeves concerning 6th gens? I'll name some of mine after driving the car for a month:
- Bigger blind sports compared to the 5th gen. My rear view mirror doesn't let me see the entire back window, which I could in my 95.
- I used to be able to see to the sides and a little bit behind the car with the side view mirrors. Now I can only see straight back. Again, bigger blind spots, I've noticed a whole car can fit in it.
- Not a fan of the tail lights.
- I hate having trunk springs instead of the gas dampers.
- Fuel gauge doesn't have any quarter marks and what's the point of the million little tick marks?
- Gas light likes to come on and go off when going up hills or accelerating fast.
- In bright sunlight the gauge cluster looks like every light is on and that ones that are actually on you can't see.
The pros outweigh the cons as usual with Hondas, it's safe to say I'm extremely happy with this car.

I kinda like the tail lights myself...
My pet peeves
-Needs more HP/TQ
-I think i feel beginning signs of my tranny slipping

(the dreaded auto trannys)
-The sunroof button is in a weird spot instead of being up top
-Even when my air/heat us turned off i can feel a good amount of air coming through the vents
Thats about it

Moonroof gasket seals good but squeaks against the painted roof, unless I apply a silicone every other month.
We have it pretty good, don't we? Ask an owner of a late '90's Chevy or Dodge, and see how long their list is.

I should have been more specific, the sedan taillights are hideous and everyone I talk to hate the coupe tails as well until I tell them the heritage behind the design.
And yes, I think I'm going to put a lawn chair in my trunk so I can relax while everyone else works on their cars. We do have it made well with these Hondas.

about the sedan headlights, only the 01-02 tailights look nice! haha, the previous years in the generation, are ugly..thank you very much haha
as for the the blind spots, just get a broadway mirror ;D
and yeah, the million of tick marks? what's up with that!? hahah ..
but yes the pros outlast the cons.. and to sum it up, the 6th gens are nicest gens, or am i just bieng biased? haha i like the 5th gens and the 8th gens

I have that to on my 5th gen. It gets annoying b/c you have to adjust the heat/cool knob even when you dont have it set to blow air out. I always have it set to the foot setting and medium for the temp.

Another one for some reason on mine it seems like the darn windows are paper thin and on the freeway it gets kind of loud.

Arent the headlights the same for all 6th gens? And yeah the coupes taillights are reminiscent of the NSX.

1. Are the blind sport mirrors from Honda or what? My mirrors don't "click" into place anymore, they just swivel freely, which sucks when a gust of wind blows your mirrors in... I'm looking to get either M3 mirrors with the LEDs.
2. You need to go drive some other I4s out there... the F23 is torqy as balls! Specially the manual.
Velocifero, I think he's referring to the 01-02 tails when they moves the signals and back up lights to the bottom instead of the top of the light.

Thats funny because everytime I see them on the road, I always debate to myself which style I like better. After doing this for some time, I think I prefer the first style with the turn signals up top. It looks more like the Euro R, Type R style of tails. Maybe its me, but it seems there less red lights too. I dunno maybe my OCD just prefers the turn signals to be above the brake lights or somethin. I also think I prefer the early style front end too with the one bar in the grill and lower bumper. This is from a 5th gen perspective.

There not honda,i bought them at discount auto parts for like 3 dollars.its a circlular looking one...maybe this picture will help:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-NEW-REAR-VIEW-MIRROR-CAR-BLIND-SPOT-COMPUTER-MONITOR_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6779QQihZ011QQitemZ320246339174QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW#ebayphotohosting (of course you don't need to order these, just go to any autozone or discount autoparts and you'll find them. and i believe with them they give you a warranty or whatever, which is weird i don't know what can go wrong with mirrors that would require you needing the warranty but hey i'm not complaining.)
trust me with these mirrors you can see all around the side..seriously if you hit someone with these equipped on your car,you don't deserve to be on the streets.not to offend anyone.
and yeah the F series do have torque but i want more lmao.

the 01-02 tailights remind me of the JDM look actually...i don't know. i am the same way when i see them and i think its a tie but i'm more on the wannabe JDM look(red on top, white on the bottom)
and i like the coupe backs ONLY if it has a spoiler, because without a spoiler it just bothers me. whenever i see coupe's with no spoiler, i feel like something is missing when i look

Seeing those mirrors makes me want to kill the driver. I'd rather strain myself to double check over the shoulder before putting those on my car.

i'm telling you guys, just get those wide angle rearview mirrors, you know those rectangular ones from import shops? well around here we call them broadway mirrors, cuz the brand. but i found a one at target for 5 dollars less =)
oh and to solve that "air coming through vents" problem, just press the recycle air button, the air flow from outside stops ..
and yes the 01-02 tailights own! and i heard the ppl who have the previous years, wanted to changed them to the 01-02 but cant, cuz there a lil bigger, and they need a whole trunk conversion..so idk..

I don't really like either of them and I don't like the TYC tails j_man has, but he did them right and they look sexy.
On another note, manual owners, do you have trouble shifting into first gear at all? Sometimes mine won't go into first or will only go half way. If I'm stopped I'll have to give it some gas to slip it in to first. Also, do you have to be going like 3 mph and under to shift into first? I do...

1. The clock light bulb is out and I'm too lazy to go get a replacement - my wife likes to ask me what time it is an night to tick me off
2. The cabin air filter is a royal PITA to change
Finch - every now and then it is tough to get it in first gear. I always just hold it in and slowly release the clutch a bit and it goes right in. If you are rolling and want to get it in 1st, double clutch it and it will slide right in.

1. My clock light went out too and I'm also too lazy/waiting to do an LED conversion. My friends whip out their cell phones to check the time and then I kindly point them towards my deck with the clock right on it.
2. I haven't changed this yet...
I'll try the double clutching... is it some sort of safety feature so that you don't accidentally destroy first gear?

i don't think so... maybe it has to do w/ the fact that you both have short shifters on? (just guessing here)
