header heat wrap

is that tan heat wrap ok to use? its not gonna damage anything?

It may cause your header to deteriorate prematurely....so I've heard anyways 

what kind of deterioration are we talkin about here? like cracking?

It's not necessary on a stock engine... It will do nothing really

x2 ...... but it will burn off over time  :)  look at my pics, they've been there for almost 4 years.

The wrap on the downpipes only lasted for about a year.   Considering the effort and getting fibreglass all over the place, I'm not going to wrap the next car's header(s).
