HID's on 04 Accord

well i ordered my HID's today off of ebay. I got a set of McCulloch 10000K. I think i got a decent price too, $219.99 with free shipping. If anybody has any experience with these lights let me know if i got ripped or not! Really though, i hope they're worth it cuz i really love the lights on acura's, bmw's, and pretty much any high dollar import. I'm thinkin these are gonna look great. I also got the Sport appearance package going on in the next couple of days and on monday the windows get tinted, 5% on the back and rear roll downs, and 50% on the front roll downs (legal limit).

10000k looks nothing like a BMW or benz lights. These lights are going to be really blue with a little tint of purple. You should have went for 8000k. I hope you got DOT approved ones, people get pulled over all the time for 10000k and higher HIDs down here. I've had my 8000k for about a year in my suburban and now my accord and never got pulled over for them. I don't really like the look of 10000k HIDs so I hope you know what they look like before you bought them.

I was going for a deep blue color. From every where I read, that's what the 10000k was. 12000k was purple and 8000k was a blue hint. I guess I'll have to wait and see what it looks like.

No thats pretty much it. Just make sure you have the paper work to prove they're DOT approved.

paperwork like that should come with them right? McCulloch is a pretty reputable brand from what I gather. Hopefully they'll come with the proper documentation.

i bought a 10000k jit for my 04 ex coupe and they look really good, they dont come as blue as you see in the photochopped pictures, thyre really easy to install! $220 sounds pretty pricey though, i have kits for sale for 170 plus 20 shipping. anyways, youre really going to enjoy the look. oh i also put my high beams on 10000k and those are brighter than anything youve ever seen. ill post som picd up sometime!
