I've just always hated the xbox controller. It makes my hands cramp and it is huge
Lol thats funny because I find the PS3 controller to be too small and the opposite of ergonomic. Are you talking about the original Duke xbox controller? Because then yea that thing was way to big lol.

I guess so. I haven't ever owned an xbox cause friends of mine had them in college and I always hated the controller. I got used to the PS2 controller I guess. I guess I don't know what the xbox 360 controller looks like then. I just assumed that it was the same as the original xbox controller. (Yes I do know the definition of assume)

There were two original xbox controllers. The original one, dubbed the "Duke" by modders, is huge and ugly and was only made for the first two years. Then they released the smaller controller and it never really caught a name lol. I hated the duke controllers and I'm a huge guy, I'm 6'4 with a size 15 shoe so my hands aren't small. Those things are too big for anyones hands.
Heres a picture of all three controllers. The 360 controller is the best of any console.

yeah i used to HATE the xbox specifically becasue of the controller..
the ps3's controllers suck!!!! No rumble (yet, apparently coming out *soon*), L2 & R2 are analog, which is ok but feels crappy, and nothing really new about it except wireless (whoop-di-doo!)
the new 360 controller is perfect.. i'm liking it.
this coming from a ps2 fanboi

The Dukes! lmao I hated those as well.
The 2nd gen Xbox controllers are the "S" controller.
360 ones are great, every once n awhile i get a cramp but idk if its from the laptop mouse or controller. Ah well.

still need to hook up my home theater system before i play .....
In case anyone believes this, I have a bridge for sale if you're interested. It goes from Manhattan near City Hall Park into Brooklyn. It's in pretty good shape since they reconditioned it and I'm selling it so I can get my engine rebuilt, blueprinted, turbo'd, valves enlarged, heads ported and polished, and tuned.
It took me about 5 minutes (seriously) to get the sarcasm here. Hard to tell when it is in writing I guess. Especially since I am a pretty sarcastic person.
BTW I just saw GTAIV on my freind's 42" LCD yesterday. The graphics are amazing. I may need to buy a PS3 now.
if you're going to get a PS3,you should wait because the sony rep came into my store last month and said the PS3 80 Gig's would be re-released with the dualshock 3 controller's and also will come with metal gear solid 4. reason i say wait is because the 40 Gig's arent backwards compatible so they won't play PS2 games...but if you don't care for PS2 games then go for it...but for all metal gear solid fans it would be wise because they just released the metal gear solid collector series for PS2 only which comes with all three metal gears,so that would suck to have a PS3 that can't play it

ARE you kidding me?you should try playing shooting games like call of duty 4 on the PS3 and then try it on the 360.I GUARANTEE you'll pick the 360 version...the PS3's analog sticks are too close to each other so my thumbs are always fighting with each other but my 360 controller i feel free and my hands don't cramp up. i actually sold my PS3 the first time and kept my 360 but when i heard they were going to discontinue the 60G, i had to get it back so i bought it again but this time only because of the Blu-ray player and simply because the 60G is the best PS3 out of all of them but hands down 360 is better then the PS3.I am sorry to say.

Yep!
I was in a lot of modding forums but didnt do much.
All I did was the 12v upgrade, added some built in leds, had a light up fan in my xbox, and cleared out the emblem and lit it up with some leds. Also did the free action replay mod to a memory card and thats about it. I will prob. sell my xbox soon.

Did you ever chip it or softmod it at least? I had an xbox running xbox media center in my last car. Was really the next best thing to a carputer, plus it had games but I never played them in the car. I don't watch as many videos in my car so I just use DVDs now when I'm going to, but I put the xbox in for road trips. Plus a modded xbox isn't just a great media player, it can play emulators, and games right off the hard drive. I use mine in my room more for playing N64 games then anything else lol. Modded xboxs are great, and its not very hard to do. I used to be an installer at xbox-scene, I only did chips and LPC rebuilds when people would burn theres up trying to solder a chip in. Or if you want you can softmod it, which is free but not as reliable and if you mess it up it needs to be chipped to fix it.
