how to get 200 - 250 hp??

Hey all i have accord 2004 ex 160 hp v-tech dohc what can i buy to get more hp up to 200 - max 250 i was thinking abaut cold air inteke but i dont know with one i best and exhaust system and what else please help me thanks
and i wanna ask somebody told me that those engines are best stock engines i that right ?

They are decent engines.
Cold air intake and exhaust might get you 5hp
The only way you are getting 200-250 HP is by nitrous or turbo (unless you customize internals)
 

vtec is wat u mean not vtech that a phone company..
yea the only way is turbo nitrous or fixing the heck out of it and like 00accord said customizing your internals.
 
 

hey doesn't the 7th generation accords 4 cyl inline known as K24 or K20 or something like that??

K24.... K20 is the civic

K24 as kev said.....and everything is azz backwards on that engine

The 7thgens are K24s? Isn't that the same as the RSX-S? Or am I getting confused here...

rsx-s engine is a k20a3

^ what they said.. you'll hardly get anything out of just I/H/E bolt ons.. just installed my CAI yesterday and only difference was just the throttle being stiffer (not sure if that makes sense).. and my exhaust just makes it a bit louder.. you have to boost to get that much HP.. hope you got deep pockets

K20z(X) is the newer Civic and Civic Si motors.
 
K20a3 is the Civic Si and Base RSX Engine

K20a2 is the RSX-S engine

K24a(X) is the Accord/CRV 2003+ Engine

K20a is the RSX-R Engine

K24a4 is the TSX/Euro Accord Motor

WHoa way off lmao...the RSX type S motor makes the K24 look like child's play..thats a serious motor,even at stock it has a lot of movement...i mean not riduculous fast but yeah that motor is real sweet...wasn't the RSX like a continuation of the integra?...honda/acura are really smart its amazing how they can change the body style SLIGHTLy and also increase performance and give it a different name and make millions...like the prelude...when it was discontinued all of a SUDDEN BAMMM the S2000 is released...different body but same 2 door concept, smaller, FASTER and now its one of the best selling sports cars...but you would have never that the S2000 was originally created from the concept of the prelude...same with the RSX....i wouldn't have known it was built out of the same concept of the integra..

come on now be serious do you honestly believe if you were a foriegner who KNEW nothing about cars and i took off all the emblems on both of these vehicles there is no way you would have thought they were related...lol and besides the S2000 is one good looking car i love the concept...its like a body concept of a porsche and corvette fused...

I do believe that our Acura RSX is Japan's Honda Integra. So that would mean that the rsx isnt made from the integra, but is the integra. ahh...

The S2000 did not, in any, way, shape, or form, get inspiration from the prelude.
 
And yes our RSX is Japan's Integra.

and using non stock examples dont help the case much.....   cause you can get the same looking body kit and put them on two different cars.......   omg.......    camry and accord are the same!!!

hmm allright so what customize internals mean how to doit srry for my bad english lol
and how much its gonna cost idk what to do now :/ or im gonna buy good turbo but then i gtta buy somthink so my engine wont blow up lol

just do research on the K series engine and see which engine components will be able to fit into yours....since its a K series i would do research on the  K24A2 or the  K20A2... thats just my opinion....those are the engines i'd be looking at to do internal swaps and whatnot...
