How to get original keys made?

My local store screwed up my only good ignition key. How do I get an original from Honda or whoever can make them from codes, and where do I find my code?

what year car do you have ??

call the dealer with the VIN # ,, they should have acceess to the key code .,,,,,,,,
the old key might have the code stamped on it ,,,
sometimes they write the key code in the owners manual..

All you have to do is take picture ID and the viN number to the dealership. They should be about $5 - $10 each.
