From what I have heard, the kappa perfects have much more bass than just the kappas. Crutchfield.com rated them the #1 component speakers and if you go on their site it shows you how the perfects compare with other component speakers. After all, they better be good for the price I paid.

Not a fan of anything Infinity.  Ive had a set or two and they are just way too bright!  I listen primarily to heavy metal and heavy guitars sound awful on bright speakers.

If you like jazz or RB or basically anything without high frequencies, youll like the Infinities.  However, if you like any kind of guitar - run!

granted the top frequency is 23khz      but considering the human hearing range, i kinda fail to see what being too bright has to do with it

Infinity comps are mostly for budget. there are a lot of mixed reviews on them. some sayin thay are ok and others saying they suck.

I've got two Premier TS-W12PRS subs in a bandpass box. 1200 watts each. They're powered by a Premier PRS-X720 amp. Right now I'm running the stock Honda head unit up front. Hopefully I'll come across a few hundred bucks I don't need so I can get a new head unit and the Metra dash converter. I also have two Pioneer 6x9s in the rear... not sure of the model numbers.

It may only be a 400 watt amp, but it is plenty sufficient for my needs, and puts out ungodly sounds. I'm pretty sure Pioneer underrated it at 400. My friends and I have been afraid I'd break my windows before, haha.

-Alpine 9807 head unit
-Alpine H701 processor
-Polk Audio SR5250 5.25" components (mids in the doors, tweeters in the dash)
-Polk Audio MM2104 10" sub in a sealed box in front of the trunk firing into the cabin
-Crossfire VR404 50x4 biamped to the front speakers
-Crossfire VR302 bridged to the sub
-Streetwires power and signal cable

Each door has 4 layers of Dynamat Extreme on them (1 on outer panel, 2 on inner panel and 1 on door skin) and several pounds of pollyfil inside the door panel.  And I have a Dashmat to kill early reflections from the tweeters.

Hey Mcleod,

As you know, I've started on my wife's car (Accord).  I'm going to use the 3sixty into the 4 channel DLS AMP.

Right now I have lower end polks (5.25" front / 6"X9"s back).  I am trying to decide which way to go

1)  Use the DLS to power a front set (New DLS speaker components) and a woofer with box.

2) Or two, use the DLS to power front components and the 6x9"s , and buy a new amplified sub box.

Which was would you go if you got some $$?

Also, are tweeters mounted in the sail planes a popular option for the Accords?

Pioneer GM-5100T  760w amp, 2 10' fosgate Punch subs, stck rears, and Jvc KD-G110 head unit, and 2 pioneer 6' speakers (i dont know which ones anymore), and i decided to put the stock head unit back in cuz someone stole my jvc face plate...got high one night and forgot to lock my shit. to top that off i cant use my tens cuz the stock head unit doesnt have any sub-outs... speaking of which, i wanna custom fab some sub-outs on my stock head unit. does anybody know how to do that? or is it even worth it?
