My wife drives an '05 Accord sedan, not sure what model...I know the only option it really came with was power windows/locks...and an overhead suglass holder haha...so the cheaper version in other words.

She wants the OEM in-dash navigation system, if it even exists or is capable of being installed.

Is there somewhere I can find it?  or is aftermarket our only option?

thanks all

You can get them through the dealer and possibly online somewhere, but you're going to be paying upwards of $2000 - $5000 for it. I think aftermarket would look/function better anyways.

Sacraccordo,

Don't listen to finch! Nothing will quite replace the quality and finish of the OEM navigation system. You can definitely acquire the parts you need off eBay for under $2000, although you may have to wait for someone who is auctioning off the parts. The biggest catch on this is installing it... check my site out regarding the wire harness. (geekeng.com)

For anyone that has been following my progress... I have been stalled on the budget for this project. My next purchase for connectors and such will be setting me back nearly $1200US, but I am confident that I will be putting down the cash soon and have complete accord wire harnesses for the navigation system available by this summer. As promised, all wire harnesses will come with installation instructions, with step-by-step pictures as well!

Booyah!

I forgot to mention.... if you don't have dual climate controls on your Accord, don't bother trying to swap the navigation system. They only come in 1 flavour -- dual climate!!
