Has anyone found an intake for the 2005 Accord Coupe?
I have owned two Accords in the past, and I was a bit stunned when I saw a MAF in My new Accord.

Any ideas, or has anyone found an intake yet?
Please let me know, I am putting the RSX 6-speed tranny in this weekend, a Greddy Exhaust, and DC Sports Header and would like an intake to match everything else.

Thanks

Hi Again..

Well here goes..the K&N Filter company makes a 69Series Typhoon Intake System for the 4 cyl engine.

I'ts stock number is 69-1206TB (blue) 69-1206TP (polished aluminium), 69-1206TR (red) and 69-1206TS ...HorsePower Increase is 3.8 HP @ 5000rpm and they are Street Legal..

See picture below....Your Welcome!

Thank you for your search, but I don't believe that it will fit the MAF equipped Accords, I searched the K&N website, and it says that it will not fit the MAF equipped accords...

Thanks anyways...

Sup man,

I just bought a 05 Accord coupe too. Just wondering, what is the MAF that comes with the accord?

Anyways, have you considered AEM or Injen? I was considering those choices because of their cold-air intakes.
Those are the only two suggestions I can make since my research is very limited.

But I am quite intersted in the 6spd tranny you're putting in. Did your EX come in MT or AT?

Good luck with your research.

The MAF that I am speaking of is the Mass Air Flow Sensor that the 05 accord is equipped with. There are currently no intakes that incorporate the MAF on the 05 accord. Also, the car came with a MT, but I am swapping in the RSX 6-speed to get better gearing, and to work better when I get the turbo kit installed later...
