Hello fellow Honda lovers!

I have a 2003 Accord that I was interested in putting a cold air intake on (Im thinking a K&N Typhoon). My question is will it void my current vehicle warranty? If no then could you please post the warranty info where it says otherwise?

there is a federal statute that states that a car manufacturer canot void the warranty on your car for using aftermarket parts unless that part directly causes something to go wrong with the car

I don't know the law...but I am pretty sure that on my AEM sri box with the Dryflow filter it says that it won't void the warranty. In my opinion the only thing that really matters is the filter...and I dont think car companys like the aftermarker oiled ones. Correct me if im wrong though?

car companies don't really like anything that allows more dirt into the engine or makes an engine operate outside of the specs intended by the manufacturer

They can dislike it all they want but the Magnuson-Moss Act keeps them from voiding your warranty. Read more here:

If your state has annual auto inspections MAKE SURE the CAI you choose is CARB approved. A sticker stating so will be supplied in the box with the parts. Apply it to the intake where it is easily seen.
