Dj, the V2 is very, very nice. Just wait for it man.

SRI has that nice quality of sounding like an exhaust. Everytime a friend rides with me they say, "Wow...never heard a car sound like that....you got a catback on this car?" etc.

I'm thinking of mounting the sensor somewhere and reconnecting the cable that goes to the box behind the battery. I figure I just hook the sensor up like stock and leace the intake of the vacuum thing do it's job. If thatn doesn't work, than im out of options. Today was the first day that my idle went very low on startup. I htink it's the sensor I unplugged. anyway, this is what im talking about. The box under the pipe. Where did you put the sensor? I unplugged mine and yanked the whold thing out. anyone else do this? or another way? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

sorry if this is to big, when I resize it in preview mode, it's much smaller.

If your talking about the air temp sensor, i had the same problem. There was no where to place it on my new intake. So what i did was drill a hole and stuck it in there

alright, I disconnected the sensor from the box, hooked all the lines up except the one to the box. And used zipties to secure. Now I got my sensor doing what it is supposed to do again. yay. here's some pics.

Sweet!

DIY re-routing is the best....theres a certain thrill/rush that you get. "Is it gonna work? *start* SAHHWEET....*wait 5 minutes* Didn't blow up! DOUBLE SAHWEET!" etc.

I noticed with this sensor reconnected, I get better idling. same sound and performance. I think this is worth it if you like utilizing all your on car equipment like me.

Uhhh....Fenix....why do you have to drill a hole? The IAT goes into the intake...and the MAF module sits on top. Fujita designed their intakes with that special consideration. But then, I don't know Fujita intakes that well.

what noboundaries is talking about isn't the MAF sensor or the IAT sensor. i dont know what it does, but i know it isn't either of those. the IAT sensor is behind the intake manifold. i know, because i have the exact same car as noboundaries. but you cant just leave the hose you disconnected from the box dangling there. you have to put it into the intake, like fenix said. i drilled a hole in the rubber part of the cone and put mine there.
