How good is the Lancer. Im looking at an 02 and 03 with a 1k difference.
Want to hear ur opinions on the car.

Evo=Lancer?
I think they are,but idk if there is a diff.
Like Lancer could have the equivalent of a Type R, which would be an Evo.

Get which ever year Lancer Evolution you can afford. Its one of the best sports car for its price range. It is FAR better than the regular Lancer. Its just too bad that there aren't any Evo FQ sold in the U.S (least I haven't seen any). A Evo FQ400 gets from 0-60 in 3.5sec (faster than a zonda). It also can keep up with a Lambo on the track.
yeah man, evo's are sick, but i wouldnt get a lancer unless it is an evo
might be just me though...

Actually the Lancer Ralliart with a 2.4L engine is a pretty good car. Fast as an Accord I4 or even maybe a little faster. It also handles better. However the Lancer ES, SE, OZ-Rally do suck because of the smaller 2.0L engine.

So...everyone is saying get an Evo Lancer...
Well..if i could find one for the same price and in the same conditons as the Lancer i already found i would. Sounds like it runs better. But i am getting a good deal on the Lancer. So idk.
what year lancer, and how much are you planning on spending on it.

Evos are more than twice the amont of lancers. the cheapest i found was 13,000 and that was a theft recovery, most are around 20k

I am looking at an 02 and 03. The 02 is 5600 and the 03 is 6600.
The guy at the lot is takin my accord for about 4k maybe 5k.
And the 02 comes with 17" black rims. but is a little more scratched up.

Now talking about prices when we were talking about how good a car is isn't saying much. Did I say the Lancer Ralliart is better than the Evo? All I said was that non Evo Lancers have different models and that the Ralliart is not that bad in reply to Thunder.

Yup they featured it on Top Gear. Costs around 90K US. They also have the FQ320 and FQ360 that aren't too far behind the FQ400.

just smoke a lancer today...dont know the model but i know it had the basic mods...btw i raped it with my supra lol but i think my accord would have taken it...wait, i know it would have beaten it
