mbo1985 and marbaro both have turbo'd f22's (I believe they are f22's anyway...) look through the search for turbo help... basically they installed a turbo with 8psi of boost on an engine with 145k miles so the internals should handle at least 8 psi in their stock condition... If you want to re-do the internals check out f22parts.com they seem like a good group of guys, you can also over bore your engine to 87mm and put in prelude pistons if you wanted then turbo it.... so you've got options but to start out with I'd just put it on and keep the boost low

ive got a 91 wgn. 260 thousand miles on it. nothing needs to be done internally to turbo your car.

yeah, you seriously don't need to mess with anything inside the motor if you want a low boost (8 psi or less) set up. And your car will RIP!!
