Need remote start install info

I have a 1998 Accord LX, automatic.

I've just purchased a AUDIOVOX PRESTIGE APS920 Remote Start Car AlarmI want to know if I will need a transponder key bypass module in order to do the install.

this is a pretty late response but more likely than not you will need one of those since im sure those years models use transponder keys too.

also, make sure that your starter is bypassed while in auto-start mode.  It's just not natural to put the key in and NOT turn it all of the way.  Even when thinking about it I've screwed up ..... the bypass cost me $35.
