hey all, Im on a $300 budget and want undercar lighting. Would it be better to buy an LED kit or a gold series kit? Any kit will come from streetglow. Thanx for the input

dont do it. If you want lights, go with interior lighting instead.

I know the underbody of the accords is flush without a body kit, Can't I just mount the lights towards the center of the vehicle on all sides? That way you have to be bending down to see tubes. I thought of an idea, if the tubes show, why not just custom build a shield to cover the edge so it's out of site? maybe steel or foil or something. I think a green glow would look very cool. I can see why some kits could look tacky though.

neons below any car is tacky and has rice all over it. Now if it was for a show car, nah, still the same thing.

Hey, if that's your thing, go for it. But yeah, IMHO, its waaaayyy too ricey. Whenever we see underbodys, we can't help but laugh at the car.

well if you REALLY want to do it someone on here did say yes you can mount the neons slightly toward the center of the car to hide the tubes better. honestly id probably get led's theyre more durable than neons but i think neons are brighter im not sure

i have led rods under the car. there great and alot cheaper. I will be the first to admit they look so ricy, but i never turn them on. Only when im impressing my lady friends. I also have interior lights and those are awsome, i always have those on. I got my lights from
http://www.ledunderbody.com/ i got the 7 color kit. i actually mounted the rods 1) in the front bumper so it shines out of the grille 2&3) to the side skirts 4) in the rear bumper
I also have a few videos of how the rods look phasing through the colors

I'm getting the two-bar set for my interior from there. Seems like a great price... happy so far Fenix? Is the inline fuse already in the setup and does the controller work well?
Thanks!

how is your interior lights wired up? Did you just tap into the parking lights circut or have a seperate switch somewhere?

he tapped it into a continuous power source and hooked it up to a switch
looks nice btw can the passengers in the rear see the tubes? or is it hidden? it looks like it can be easily kicked right there at least its not neon tubes they would be goners

I'm sold. All of your drill bits scare me a lil bit, I was hoping not to have to cut up any interior plastic, but I'll manage.
Thanks for the pics!

the rear passangers cannot see the tubes. I very rarely have someone in the backseat, but when i do have someone back there i tell them that if they kick the rod ill F'ing kill them. And yes it is going to a continuous power source, i ran a wire from the engine through the firewall into the center console. I have a box of switches there, ill take pics soon
