New member and new to the world of Honda. I recently purchased a 94 LX for my beater to and from work. I am a diehard Nissan fanatic having owned two 1st generation Altimas (both have been in accidents) and an 04 Armada. I have been a member on numerous boards to include Nissanclub, NWNissan, and Nissan Pacific so I know how to behave as a n00b, LOL. So you folks take it easy on me cause I am totally new to the Honda community and glad to be aboard.

That is interesting my 96 Accord is worth about $1000-$1200. In the US how are Hondas rated generally? For instance are they in the same league as say Cadillac? Lexus are the luxury brand of Toyota here and the US but unlike the US we don't have Acura.
I am trying to understand how Honda/Acura sit in the US market as the prices for cars in general from what I have seen in the US are cheaper than the UK like for like but the Accord EX you mention seems expensive.

Honda's are a top of the line market for reliability middle of the line market for comfort/style (S2000 Aside) the Acura series is the sportier/more luxurious one. Cadillac, Lexus, BMW are your "top of the line" cars for style/Comfort and $3300.00 U.S. is fairly cheap for a 94 EX.... My brother just bought a 94 Civix (base model) Hatchback for the same price....

Interesting. The top price Accord for the UK market is the Honda Accord Saloon 2.4 i-VTEC Executive 4dr
Price new £21,800. You can get discounts upto about £3k. So how much for similar in the US then?
