Hello.
My wife and I just traded in our `97 Maxima for a silver 2007 VP with auto. While the Max was doing just fine, I felt it was about time she got a new car. Went back to the four cylinder because of $3 gas, we won't have to buy premium anymore, plus there is no need for the V6. After all, If I wanted to go fast, I'd get a bike. Since we needed a family car, and not just any family car, we jumped on the VP. We were familiar withe the Accord's virtues. But, nine years ago, it was a killer deal on the Max that won us over a similarly-equipped Accord.
I am in the process of adding WeatherTech FloorLiners and trunk cargo line, installing rear speakers (Boss Blade BLX69, 95db sensitivity), and giving it a complete once-over.
Besides the aforementioned Max, Susan has owned a `75 280Z (midnite blue, white interior, with auto no less) and an `89 Silver Civic DX hatchback. No need to go into the dozens of cars I've had. Suffice to say, I learned to drive a four speed at age 13.
My daily driver for the last six years, rain or shine, show drifts and ice, has been a `99 Miata, which I work on myself as needed (not often). It has several 'improvements'. I am also a member of Miata.net. At the very least, that forum has saved me hundreds of dollars, let alone trading ideas with people all over the world.
Sometime in the near future, I'll be asking questions in the other categories, once I've exhausted reading as many threads as I can, and having abused the search engine.
