I just joined because I purchased a Honda Certified ''05 Accord 4mos ago and it is making a funny noise/jerk when transitioning from reverse to drive, and I would like to be knowledgable about what is wrong before taking it into the dealer. It has just under 40k on it and everything appears to be in great shape accept for this one issue. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Check the auto-tranny fluid level & color & smell. Only use Honda ATF because its not really the same as Dexron.
Hard to say without seeing it firsthand. But if they claim its normal, ask to try a couple other 7th-gen (03-07) Accords to verify that.
