Hi everyone, my name is Nick and i'm from Memphis, TN. I've always poked around this forum for the past year but never joined up until today. My parents just recently bought me another Honda Accord. My last one was a 1994 EX and it was totalled, I was in a head on collision with a Yukon, it wasnt my fualt thankgod. To replace it, they got me a Green 2000 Accord Special Edition. I absolutely love it, it feels alot quicker than my last even though it only has 5hp more. It's really comfortable and great to drive. The only thing that urkes me about it, is the transmission. I know its been replaced and the new one has a bit of trouble downshifting, its not terrible though. It only has 116,000 Miles on it compared to my last one which had 193,000 on it when it was totalled. Anyway, I just wanted to join and see if anyone wanted to talk and become friends. I will leave you with some pictures of my old and new car. (That is if I uploaded them correctly haha)
Thanks, Nick

Thanks for all the welcomes. It was a scary accident. To that point I had no wrecks or any tickets, I had expected something to happen to me in my first year of driving. A ticket or a small fender bender, but I made it for a year with nothing. I guess this major wreck was to make up for that luck. I was pretty upset about it all after I realized just exactly what had happened. It was a rainy day and I had just gotten out of school and was on my way home. Well I was in the turning lane slowing down for a stop sign when this Yukon takes a turn too fast and completly slides out of her lane into mine and hits me head on. I didnt have time to swerve or even slam on my brakes. I knew the airbags went off because I heard them and felt my head fly forward and then back into the head rest. (Good thing i had it set high up, im tall, 6ft 3in) I opened my eyes to see a giant Yukon halfway into my hood. I walked away from it without any injuries except burns from the airbag. Thanks Honda for making such safe cars! But come to find out later she was underage, didn't have a license and her parents were out of town. So the cops loved that. I knew my car was totalled just from looking at it. I sure do miss it and the sunroof. But my new one is just as nice with lower miles.
