I had originally replaced the stock muffler and catalytic converter with a Manaflow style muffler and 2.5" exhaust pipe, resonator, high flow cat with a nice chrome oval exhaust tip. It sounded good and throaty but had a stong resonation (too loud) at freeway speeds, and interferred with my stereo system's bass. I ended up replacing taking off the muffler and running straight pipe. This made better sound (more throaty like what you might hear on a SCCA ready vehicle) without being as annoying at freeway speeds and with less interferrence with the subs. Don't know for sure if it will pass emmissions but I have 2 years before I will need to find out. ;-)
