yup ..... Ingalls Engineering upper control arm with camber adjustment
I had the conflict problem and ground down the outter edge on one of the offset ball joints ..... a year later, the rubber on the ball-joints were shot on both sides. It cost me 2 new tires, an alignment and the new control arm kit.
Sucks that you have to deal with this, but it's nice to see that I'm not the only one with this problem!

so what did you do? the guy who did my alignment said all i had to do was remove these 2 tabs(from stamping the wheel well from honda) grind or cut out and that will give me the clearance to have proper camber in the front. I asked about shorter uppercontrol arms and i will still encounter this problem. not hesitant about chopping these tabs out but i wonder how much i need to cut off, will i need to weld the cuts shut??? so confused. i will try to post pics of these tabs to get some more opinions. thanks . is this what you were talking about?

That's what I have!!!! I had the tabs ground off. That's not the real problem though. Even with the tabs ground, I had to replace the parts with what you have pictured above a year later. The control arms don't have the hitting problem. No problems since they were installed.

oh shnap, thanks for the input. just wondering if there is a huge difference in our cars? so in your opinion should i just get the new arms(any alignment issues), or do the tab removal?

For my car, Ingalls had a pretty good write-up talking about the clearance problems in the front wheel wells. I'd look for a similar write-up for 5th gens. Replacing the parts could save you a pair of tires. I'd probably grind the tabs and just be pissed off later if you get the same problem that I did. If you do the work yourself, you might want to think about the replacement. I can't make up your mind, sorry.

no worries, i'm pretty much SOL with the new arm, ingalls dosen't make it for the 5th gen. so a grinding i will go. anyone with 5th gen. any info. thanks falkore24.
