Hello all, I am fairly new to the forum. I tried searching for this answer but couldn't find it. I have a Honda Accord LX 1995. The Stereo has stopped working . I was driving one day and I heard the attenna all of the sudden retract. I looked down and the stereo had shut off. The crazy thing is, I know power is getting to it. The CD Player still makes sounds that it is running and it draws its power from the stereo and the lights all light up when I turn on the headlights. But it won't turn on and the antenna doesn't work.
This is a stock stereo. I was think I just needed a new stereo deck, but not sure if this will fix it.
Any ideas?

make sure all your fuses are good first. then test the wires with a voltmeter. It also sounds to me like the deck is shot...

x2 ..... or 3 if you count yourself!!!! A cheap but decent deck will cost around $120 ..... my standard recommended deck is the JVC-HDR1 for $200 .... sometimes on sale for $180 at Crutchfield. I recommend it because it can take accessories like an iPod adapter and it is the cheapest HD radio around.
