Ok, I have narrowed the future exhaust down to this one... because I want quiet, but all the ones I heard have that raspy start up, that sounds like the car is farting... including the Greddy SP2, which is supposed to be one of the quietest.
My question is this... Currently Tanabe only has cat-backs listed on there website for 1998 Accords and Up..... so..... will a cat-back for a 98 4cyl fit on a 1996 4cyl?
and if so, how much of a difference is the length between a 98 coupe and a 96 sedan?
thx

If you want quiet, go with the Apexi WS2
Tanabes are usually really loud

Thanks for the advice. See, here is my dilemma. I am of the older persuasion, so I dont want that loud raspy fart can that is popular among the younger crowd, plus, my car is also a family car from time to time, but I do like to enjoy my vehicles and I want performance over sound.
Does the Apexi come with the coconut cannon for a tip, or can I put a smaller dual tip, like what's already on my accord?

I looked at Apexi's website, the WS2 comes with a 105mm or 4.13 inch tip.... that's about 2 inches to much for me.

youve obviously heard an old, abused greddy sp2. ive had mine almost a year now and it still sounds great, quiet, with a very nice tone. everyone who has heard it thinks it sounds awesome and even an apexi ws2 owner liked my tone better than his.

Yeah, the tube is about 4 inches, but it doesnt have any of the fart can sound.
