question bout tire width

     hey, so i got the 17 inch wheels that come on the 06 six speeds, and the stock wheels are sick but the tires are only 215.  you think i would be able to fit a set of tires with a width of 235 or 245 on those same wheels with out any problems or rubs?

Well, 17s are commonly 7.5 in wide. At 215, you're already at 8.5 in. At 235, you're at 9.25 in and at 245 you're at 9.6 in. Most local tire places will not put a tire on a wheel that is not guranteed to fit or doesn't share the same or better specifications as the stock tire.
