Okay, first off, i just put bigger rims on my car but they have low pro. tire's so m y car sit's lower('91 btw) and i have recently started hearing my muffler scrape the ground on as much as a twenty fiveish degree hill. I want to lower it a little to get rid of the gap but i feel that even an inch is pushing it too far. i still want to be able to get into parking lots with speed bumps.  should i even worry about lowering it and just get bigger rims or do they make half inch drop kits?

well why would you want to lower it you're muffler is scraping? is your exhaust stock?

i say just get coilovers so you can adjust to your liking

Sorry about the delay... yahoo put you guys in the spam folder. Here are some pics...

I think i need to lower it in the front and stiffer suspension in the rear to keep from hitting my muffler, but i'm a beginner

Well the wheels/tires are tiny to start with so its already sitting low. I suggest either redo you exhaust and run it higher so it wont scrape or buy bigger wheels/tires and then lower

Well that's an idea i figured sixteens were a minimum, but they were free. I trade an in-dash dvd player for it (beggars can't be choosers). i'll have to keep my eye out. Thanks again!
