Hi my name is shaun and i am new to the forum. I have a 95 ex and was wondering if anyone could tell me if the rear mount has a solenoid or not.

Not until you finish telling us what kind of car...

Manual tranny = normal rubber mount.

Automatic tranny = vacuum-operated mount with a solenoid valve on the vacuum line.

BTW, Welcome!  Lots of expertise around here, if we know what you have, and if we can post.

The parts drawing I posted in that other thread is kinda pathetic for the actual location & routing of that vacuum hose.  Unfortunately I dont have any better...

Maybe from underneath you can follow the hose from the mount itself?

Dont set it up to stay soft all the time.

The vac line isn''t easy to see unless you are replacing the mount .... if I remember correctly, it was black plastic wrapped around the black sub-frame on mine .... I had the V6, but it''s the same idea.  Since you plan to make a lot of power with a turbo system, I''d recommend solid mounts.  I forgot who makes them, but they ARE available.
