hey guys n girls.

i was wondering if any1 had a diy to replace the clip on a 2004 honda accord v6.
It is the clip that anchors down the back seat.

i have not replaced one on a newer car,, so i cannot give you proper directions,, but if you take off the seat back bottom part it should not be that difficult ,, it is either snapped in or clipped in.
what is wrong with old clip ?? why not have dealer deal with it ,, car is 04 ,unless you got over 36k miles car is still totally under warranty

it is snapped on,
but i cant seem to pull it out..

the dealer wants to charge me for an hour's time for the work being done... that costs nearly $100 and i dont think thats worth it to replace a $3 item

the dealer said that i broke it, and its not under warranty

Of course dealer is going to say that you broke it,, if it snaps in, get a screwdriver and snap it off,if it breaks off is no big deal,, you are going to install a new one anyways .. once out , just snap in the new one ..

every single snap in clip that i have ever come across and do not need to reuse it,, I have always used a screwdriver to brake it off and then install the new clip..
to this day i have never had a problem or one that would not come off .
