I have an 90 accord as said before.... 190k.... i think its about time to fix it up a little....
I bought a engine kit... for 300 bucks... because im not too sure about the swap idea....
It came with pistons, piston rings, oil filter, water pump, timing belt, etc.... do you think after i finish that... it would run better? or is it just a waste of time...
I also am buying bigger fuel injectors, intake manifold, fuel rail.

Does it need to be rebuilt? Hows the compression? Is it burning oil? I've seen honda engines with 300,000+ miles on em that had no problems at all.

Bigger injectors and a bigger fuel rail aren't going to give you much if you're not increasing your performance, keep in mind that the head may need machined to properly fit the new pistons, after replacing the pistons etc it should run like a practically new motor so take it easy for about the first 1000 miles

ok because i didnt wanna do a swap... its running kind of wierd thats why im deciding to do that.... so im hoping this works out good... i hope it does....when i take the head off.... its very greasy... would it be ok if i power washed it? to get the grease off of it? or what could i do... i want it to look clean again.

power washing it would be fine, you may as well do a valve job on it also.... get some engine degreaser to use with the power washer and you may as well clean out/off the carbon build up while you're in there, just make certain that you get as much water as possible off and let it dry throughly before re-assembling it, are you going to do the work yourself?
